Create ad placements and landing pages for a new holiday scent release.

Mrs. Meyer’s was releasing a new scent for the 2019 holiday season, Snow Drop, in addition to other seasonal scents across product categories. Using an inspiration image provided by the client we created ad placements, a Facebook ad, a SnapChat video ad, and updated landing page visuals for Target.com.

Process

1. Initial Layouts.

The client provided an inspiration image to help influence the creative layouts for these placements. We provided a few options of the creative to the client that used both lifestyle imagery and illustrations.

 

2. Final layouts.

After we received minor feedback from the client on the initial layout options, they preferred to use a mix of layouts throughout the placements for this specific version of creative.

 

3. Facebook carousel.

Using the placement layouts as inspiration we created a Facebook carousel layout that connected each of the products into one storyline for cohesion as well as provided lifestyle images of the products as an alternate option. The client preferred our primary creative.

 

4. SnapChat ad.

We created several video options for the SnapChat ad and provided some possible music to accompany the visuals. The client selected this version without changes.

5. High-fi wireframes.

In order to quickly gain buy-in from the client, we created high-fidelity desktop and mobile wireframes of the existing landing page, with new imagery featuring the holiday collection of scents and the new Snowdrop scent as well as updated the category browse section with all of the available options for the season.

Results

Project shipped very quickly during holiday project rush.

The client was very pleased with the creative and we were able to ship off the placement ads, Facebook carousel, SnapChat ad, and updated landing page creative with only 3 rounds of client feedback.
